Patrick Morrison, DVM

Dr. Morrison was born in frigid Michigan, but grew up along the East Coast in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He returned to the cold to study at the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) where he received an undergraduate degree in Biology before attending Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Before moving to Charlotte in August 2018, he was practicing in Northern Virginia seeing primarily exotic animals; reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, “pocket pets”, birds, etc. His other veterinary interests include preventive medicine, surgery, and pain management.

In his free time, when he is not basking in the sun with his pet bearded dragon, Gru, you can typically find him hiking a trail or taking in a baseball game. Dr. Morrison is a member of the American and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians.
