Patrick Morrison, DVM

Chief of Staff

Dr. Morrison was born in Michigan, but grew up along the East Coast in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He returned to Michigan to study at the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) where he received an undergraduate degree in Biology before attending Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. He has called Charlotte home since 2018. Dr. Morrison primarily sees exotic animals (reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, “pocket pets”, birds, etc.) along with your more traditional cats and dogs. His other veterinary interests include preventive medicine, surgery, ultrasound, and pain management.

In his free time, when he is not basking in the sun with his pet Russian Tortoise, Ube (like the purple yam), you can typically find him hiking a trail or taking in a baseball game. Dr. Morrison is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.
